Why use Triple Threat Auction Tools?

  1. Is it really cheaper than other auction tool sites?
    Yes! Most sites charge a percentage of the item they are invoicing for, and not just a flat fee. We took the most popular sites, and LOWERED their minimum fee! We charge only a flat fee. We don't think that if your item sells for $200 or $5, you should be charged more for the same simple email! On average we are 80% CHEAPER than any other auction tools sites!

    For one thing, unlike other auction tool sites, we GROUP each person's winnings! This means they get just ONE email listing everything they've won! It is much more likely that ALL your items will be paid for this way. Plus we make it easier on the buyer by telling them EXACTLY how much to send!

    Another thing -- ease of use. Once you are set up, it only takes 2 clicks of your mouse to go from our main web site to sending out all your invoices!

  4. Is it easy to send out invoices?
    Once you are set up, it only takes 2 clicks of your mouse to go from our main web site to having all your invoices sent out! It can't get much easier than that! Also, it's easy to uncheck any items you don't want invoiced, as well as change postage on the items (in case they need extra postage!)

  5. Is it free to sign up?
    It's totally free to sign up. It's free to access the Your account area of the system. Any area which costs something to access, will say it! We don't want you to ever worry about what is free and what is not!

Setting up your Account

  1. Can you help me set up my account?
    Absolutely! Just Register, then Click here to fill out a form for us to set up your account. There is NEVER a charge for account set up or help!

  2. What are all the "variables" for?
    The "variables" help us to know what to charge, and in what situation. The reason there are so many of them and they are so complicated, is that way we can be MORE flexible and allow more options for YOU!

    The Variables

    • SH = Shipping and Handling price for each item.
    • I = Insurance price for each item.
    • aSH = Shipping and handling for each item after the first. If your SH was $1, and your aSH was .25, then if someone gets 3 items they pay $1.50 shipping and handling.
    • aI = Insurance for each item after the first. If your I was $.50, and your aI was .10, then if someone gets 4 items they pay $.80 insurance.
    • tSH = Total shipping and handling. This is useful for either adding an extra charge for the whole order, OR for charging per set of items won (no matter how many won.)
    • tI = Total Insurance. This is useful for either adding an extra charge for the whole order, OR for charging per set of items won (no matter how many won.)

Sending Invoices

  1. Most times, what do I do to send out an invoice?
    Most times, you go to "Send Invoices" from the main page, then after unchecking anything where the reserve was not met, just click on the button on the bottom of the page "Send Invoices NOW for all checked items". That's all there is to it!

  2. How do I remove items where the reserve price was not met?
    Just unclick the box next to the item. The box is located under the column "Send?"

  3. How do I add postage to an item?
    Add in the extra postage to the SH (shipping and handling) variable.

    Example: If it has 1.50 in the SH column and you want to add $3 extra postage, just change the 1.50 to a 4.50.

  4. I hate someone, and I don't want to give them a postage discount. How do I do that?
    Change the value under the aSH (additional lots shipping and handling) column, to make it equal to the SH column.

  5. How do I add insurance to an item?
    Add in the extra postage to the I (insurance) variable.

    Example: If it has 1.50 in the I column and you want to add $3 extra postage, just change the 1.50 to a 4.50.

  6. Why don't you handle dutch auctions?
    There are several reasons we chose not to handle dutch auctions. One major one is that the customer is not required to buy the item if they don't get the full amount of the product they wanted. This makes it too easy to back out of a bid. If someone won 3 other lots of yours plus a dutch item, how should postage be charged? What if they didn't win the full amount of the product they wanted? These types of questions were foremost in our minds when we chose not to handle dutch auctions.
